With more than 18 years of experience in business development and proposals, new Vice President will help take Octo to the next level of growth.
June 9, 2020, Reston, Va. – Octo is pleased to announce the promotion of Mary Malone Hess to Vice President of Capture Governance and Proposals. Hess leads Octo’s Proposal Operations Center and Capture Governance activities across the company. In this role, she provides an enterprise-level shared service focused on leading and winning Octo’s highest priority growth opportunities. Hess also supports all of Octo’s strategic planning related to proposal and capture activities and maintains Octo’s customer relationship capabilities, tools, and processes.

Prior to joining Octo, Hess served as Senior Proposal Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology, Business Development/Proposal Manager at GeoTek, Inc., and Business Development/Proposal Manager for Geotechnics. She holds a B.S. from University of Florida and is a Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist.
