As Octo’s Senior Director of IT Operations, Carl Eastley is charged with providing world class user experience and enterprise class IT services to Octo employees. With 21 years of experience managing large, complex IT infrastructure and technical solutions in Technology, Pharma, ISP, and Security sectors, Carl brings a rare perspective that extends beyond standard solutions. He applies best practices and technologies from these industries to develop cutting edge solutions at scale that exceed traditional performance expectations. He actively partners with fellow service centers and business units on integrated IT solutions and strategies, and oversees the modernization and security of Octo’s enterprise architecture portfolio. Prior to joining Octo, Carl was Senior Manager of Infrastructure and Applications at SONY, where he led technical Global Security, Infrastructure, and Application efforts. Previously, he was the Director of Systems at Hughes, where he provided technical management for business IT, Infrastructure, and operations. Prior to SONY, Carl was the Associate Director, IT Technical Solutions for Human Genome Sciences (GSK). Carl holds and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and is a certified PMP.
